Farewell to Pete

I just wanted to post a pic of our classroom door because we will soon be saying goodbye to Pete The Cat! If you haven't purchased the Pete The Cat books you should.....your kids love to rock out and read these stories!

Grandparents' Day

Oh Grandparents' Day is always one of

my favorite kindergarten events! I just love watching the children light up and socialize with their grands! They ate together and then we read a story that we wrote about why grandparents are special, and concluded with a song. We all enjoyed ourselves so much, and I hope the grandparents will know they are always welcome in our classroom. 

Teddy Bear Picnic

All our teddy bears came Thursday to join in learning fun! They had a sleepover at school, and we took them outside for a teddy bear picnic on Friday! Oh.....the fun we had sharing teddy bear sandwiches, teddy grahams, and yohoohs with our bears! Also, we listened to some really great bear stories read by Ms. Camille, our Americorp friend.

Twins
